Cool track, the recording is good quality. I'd recommend you don't put songs on here with Pete Rock instrumentals, it's an easy way to get banned from te portal. Look around the audio portal for hip hop instrumentals and record over those, there are tons of them!

Thanks guy. To be honest I spent forever recording this haha. I completely forgot how I edited it too so I'm barely keeping me head afloat with getting quality vocals. Really? Well I put the no copyright thing there for that reason. That would suck if they dropped this though. It's one of the best I've made in a while. Vocal wise that is, still working on my lyricism.

This sounds heavenly

First of all I really dig the drums. They've got this lagging feeling to them, as if they're kind of restrained and it fits my flow here perfectly. I think you're choice of drums here is going to influence how I use drums in my future beats, haha.

The sample, heartbeat, monitor beep, etc all work together devinely. I'm really pumped on this mix man, muchas gracias for putting it up!

Nah man, thank you for putting out the acapellas! I wish more people did it!!! Rappers can always grab my tracks, but it's a bit more complicated when I want to get acapellas.

I'm glad you liked it! I've been dying to use that drum sample for a while now. When I dropped it on the pella I was like bingo! xD We should collaborate soon! I should have my new computer in a week or so, so I'll be itching for a nice project! :)

Sounds good man, a nice groove. I think I'd clean up the vocal samples a bit, it's a bit overwhelming when they come in (they still sound good, but hey!)! I think that's a slide guitar too, and that be a nice touch.

Thank you. The vocals were the last thing added to the track and I uploaded the 'unfinished' track abruptly to get some new music on my page. Def a guitar played with a slide, although it's sampled and not recorded.

The beat sounds sick. I think it could use some quick equalizing with the vocals though. I like to pick a few mid/high spots and raise the vocals there by ear. Then I find overlapping instruments and lower the volume them on those frequencies. Haha, I'm still digging the beat as I listen to this :)

I like it. Too much reverb on the adlibs I think, it was kind of overwhelming. But yeah, sick 16 bra.

Well theres no reverb at all, it was probably just the mic and the room I was recording in which gave that effect . I know it sounds like I'm just making excuses, but I usually record with a very high quality studio condenser mic and in a room with treated acoustics. People I know from way back on NG were telling me that they hadn't heard anything from me in a while so I just posted up a 16 to show them how much I've evolved lyrically. The purpose was 100% just to showcase 16 bars, not to make a full track. I'll make sure to throw you a link when I do have tracks completed though.
