Leave a review to vote on the MC Knock Out.
To vote on the other battles:

I'm going to use Tag Team as an example here. So, to vote on the Tag Team battles what you first must do is listen to every Tag Team track. Go and read the rules for the Tag Team battle and then rank your top 3 submissions according to the rules specified. For the Tag Team you want to look at how MC's used the words, whether they pronounced and used them right, their flow, their rhymes, the content, and more. Then you want to look at the producers, how well they used their topics, and the over all quality of the track. Type up a paragraph justifying your decisions for your three top tracks. Eventually we will tally everyone's results and declare winners!

Then post your decision in the results of this newspage. As usual, keep discussions in the audio forum thread.

Sample
1.Haywire - an amazing production, very well arranged, and a real pleasure to listen to. The most original
3.GunstarGreene - The drum arrangement was great. I was amazed about how similar your track sounded to eppskevin with the reversed samples over the zombies sample - but overall I think you had the higher quality production value
2.eppskevin - I liked the intro, and really liked how seemlessly the jazzy piano mixed into the guitar style sample at 1:10.

TSOG
1.Sirhc7000 - I hadn't listened to much J-Dilla before, so when I heard your track and how good it was, I had to listen. You did a great job with the style, I favorited this track, and you introduced me to a world of great music with J-Dilla.
2.EternalXIII - So dope. Loved the originality. A bit slow for my taste, but really mimics the Portishead style right on. The underlying vinyl-style dustblips made my day.
3.DJ-Delinquent - Those kid choir voices creeped me out! I believed that's what you were going for and I could definitely hear some crazy ill Bill over this track when I slowed it down a bit. Great production value.

I liked deadspread83's art the best, It had the old school faded vinyl look, like a nervous records style, and the color scheme was much like Newgrounds as well. That tank and tankman were just too awesome.

I've confirmed that the order isn't changing, he just flipped the 2 and 3 around and corrected it.

So, Gunner-D's votes for the Sample battle are:

1. Haywyre
2. GunstarGreene
3. eppskevin

NG Sample

1.Dj-Delinquent - I loved the overall tone of it. Hip hop meets 8-bit kinda, and the beat was well mixed, and it flowed nicely

2.Gunner-D - It was tough to choose between this one and Delinquents for first. Although this isn't first on my list, I liked it because the beat was almost as rad as Dlinquents. Kinda the same genre too, I like the whole 8-bit vibe going down.

3.EternalXIII - I was originally going to put this as first. It's a great beat and it varies quite a bit. The reason why it dropped to 3rd was because it could have used a bit more mixing. As it stands it's a little harsh on the ears. Awesome beat nonetheless.

Tag Team Battle

1.n1k-mUg and QSik - This one was mixed well also. I loved the melody, recognized the theme and it was really well done. I loved the fact that it wasn't all spit, they had some singing in it a bit as well. Solid hip hop piece all around. This one got extra points for me for the Animaniacs theme though.

2.DJ-Delinquent and Gasmasq - This one is the best mixed, has great rhythm, and the way they used the required words was clever and catchy. Stayed on topic, and the vocals fit in the mix nicely.

3.Gunner-D and MickeyMao - This one may have made 3rd, but was still good. I recognized the theme immediately. Use of words was well done. The main reason why it didn't get higher on my list is because the mixing and the flow could have been done better. Great job though.

TSOG battle

1.EternalXIII - This one was super chill. 1st on this list because I loved the guitars behind the beat. Well mixed as well as catchy beat. Relaxing. Very well done.

2.Dj-Delinquent - Really catchy. Loved the choir and the drums were well done. Dark and freaky, yet catchy and epic. It was tough to decide whether to put this first or second. Great beat.

3.Sirhc7000 - Chill and funky. This was a great beat, very soulful and old school. The reason I didn't put this higher was because it was a bit repetitive and I wasn't feeling it as much as the other ones, but still a good beat.

Really great submissions throughout, it was tough deciding on these. Good luck to everyone.

sample battle

1.Haywire-most flipped in my opinion, his stuff's always trancy but i liked it. good bass note riding through the track along with great production tricks.
2.Gunstargreene- on par with level of production, changes alot. good mastering.
3.Tilkanauts- this one was my favorite flip, but since this is a producer battle he comes in third because his production was not as complex. my personal favorite though

ng sample battle

1.haywire- again this guys just real good. has the most different chops while keeping the simple hip hop rock going. solid drums, solid mastering.
2.Deliquent-on par with haywire, i guess it came down to taste cause i just wasnt feeling the drums. dont get me wrong the tracks great, i just think haywire's drums bumped better, like heavy bass and punchy. this tracks like techno with the drums more quiet.probably just my opinion
3. Gunner d- my personal favorite, he just knows how to rock with loops, like when to changeup and stuff. in my opinion the best cause it doesnt have too much, like an orgy of production tricks. but this is a producer battle so with that in mind he comes in 3rd.

ill post my votes for the others later

I usually don't go too far with looking at beats, but whatever, I'll give my best.

NG Sample Battle
1. EternalXIII - The stuttering won it for me, very nice sample work.
2. Haywyre - I love beats that use sax and brass in the right way.
3. Gunner-D - Loved it, espescially the Exceptid/Cynic samples.
I know, I'm probably going to be the only person that doesn't vote for Delinquent. His was dope as well though. :P

Tag Team
1. DJ-Delinquent and Gasmasq - Beat was dope, flow was dope. The Miles Davis sample was a tad weird, but it didn't make it any less dope.
2. n1k-mUg and QSik
3. Gunner-D and MickeyMao
For the last two votes, both had dope beats, but the difference was the flows (and that HTA had singing, which was original).

Sample Battle
1. Tilkanuts - I don't even know why, but I haven't got it out of my head for the last week. I absolutely loved it the way that the vocal/piano samples were used.
2. Haywyre - Great stuff, loved how I could listen to it and just relax.
3. GunstarGreene - The piano and guitar merged well.
It was either eppskevin or GunstarGreene, but anyway, I like how much that guitar riff was used.

Art Competition
It came down to Peglay and deadspread83, but I gotta give it to deadspread. The layout and text looked fantastic.

I might come back to vote on TSOG.

tag team battle
1.deliquent and gas-just very tight production. as well as gasmaq just ripping it with dope lyrics, i really dont get who's idea it was to use "charlie sheen" in the song cause it just sucks all the dopeness out of the track, but these guys deserve first i think.
2.n1k mug, qsik-kind of strange flow but i liked how they created an atmosphere in the beginning. cool cartoon sampling and metaphor about hip hop being a murdered woman.
3.gun D, and mickeymao- dope inspector gadget. and very clever for using miles davis in the trumpets. mickeys flow was like god's gift, or aesop and that was different to hear. great beat

TSOG battle
1.eternal13-im not that into the slow trance hip hop, or trip-hop, that portishead does, but it sounds like eternal put the most work into the beat. he did change-ups enough and brought in new instruments throughout the whole beat, very precise reverb and eq'ing. very much like portishead, 1st place.
2.deliquent-great beat, great break, and changed up the samples well. it was very hard to decide between deliquent and eternal for first. this beat is on point. bunch of stuff going on and very trance like with the repetitiveness. id say this comes in second soley cause i feel like the mastering was not worked on as well, who am i to tell what he was going for, that's why its hard to judge a production competition (what is good mastering). but i just feel like eternal's beat had more depth and substance to the drums and samples. that's just my opinion
3.sirch7000-my favorite, and im gonna say now all 3 entries to tsog are dope. practically equal of production skill. it kinda comes down to what the person did with their skill now which makes it more about opinions i think. and in my opinion sirch's beat was the chillest and my pick for what i would bump in the car.

art competition
1.kuoke-my favorite
2.deadspread-second favorite, well done
3.tie between j-qb, and mickey mao- both of them are dope

great comp red, hope u put one together next year, it really got the hip hop community on NG rustling about.

Art Competition

1 Kuoke
The attention to detail on that scale is excellent between the speaker wire and tankman with his ears covered up. Just the little things along with the coloring have this as my vote for first. Also, the idea in general that the sound of Newgrounds hip hop is about to blast the whole city was well thought out!

2 Aigis
Hilarious creativity. Nene is a benchmark of Newgrounds and to have her threatening life with the knives in that older look with the Dad beanie, deadly stance, and a parental advisory definitely holds a top spot in the competition. So hip hop!.

3 deadspread83
This submission had the old school drawing feel to it. Tankman leaned back sun roof top lol. The tagging at the top brought it all together. Just good attention to detail all the way around.

My vote for the NG Sample goes as follows:

1st - DJ - Delinquent
2nd - Gunner-D
3rd - Haywire
4th - ExternalXII

My votes for top three in the Art Competition are as follows:

1st: MickeyMao
2nd: Gasmasq
3rd: Kuoke

Klazik, you're a hater! :D

I've come to leave a vote on the Art

my top three suh

1-deadspread83, this would make a sick cover and I totally agree with Gun-D when it comes to it lookin like a vinyl cover this would be sick

2-coming in second is GasMasq, I had trouble deciding which on liked more and it dawned on ya boy that this is hip hop and ya boy GasMasq was the only one to capture more than one element of Hip Hop which was sick mad respect

3-my personal favorite Kuoke
very detailed and just plain sick
plain and simple

All art was done very well and mad respect ya'll,
Renegade
