I'm a very reserved person. I don't usually say what I'm thinking and only speak freely to poems. I don't show my music to people I know in real life. They've never seen this darker side of me and it feels weird to show it.
What I love about hip hop shines true with this song by Grieves. I could have written that song, word for word about my brother. It's so relieving to know that I'm not alone in this world. That is what I want to do with hip hop: connect souls. At the moment, the sole purpose of writing my music is to speak and connect with other people. If you ever really feel something of mine you hear, let me know. It will make my day.

I completely agree with you. Art with purpose is art with power.
