I'm a very reserved person. I don't usually say what I'm thinking and only speak freely to poems. I don't show my music to people I know in real life. They've never seen this darker side of me and it feels weird to show it.

What I love about hip hop shines true with this song by Grieves. I could have written that song, word for word about my brother. It's so relieving to know that I'm not alone in this world. That is what I want to do with hip hop: connect souls. At the moment, the sole purpose of writing my music is to speak and connect with other people.
