@MadFlex: I'm pretty sure you and Nimbus ain't the only people around here that is familiar with the battle rap circuit. I have been checking out Smack/Grindtime/Don't Flop/KingOfTheDot battles for a while if I say so myself but I'm not fronting though. No hate at all & I ain't even bragging about checking that shit for a while. Not at all but I'm just sayin though.

Admittely, I was more influenced by those kind of battles than audio battles. I was more punchline/wordplay driven and not really with delivery or flow. That's the part i fucked up in our track lmao. S' all good fam. People make mistakes everyday & I've learned from my mistake. There's always next year B-)

@Nimbus: Is it gonna be online? Even if not, body that n***a

@Bigred: Hey man, what's the deal with the Sample Battle? When are we going to get that pack haha, it would be dope if I would get that pack soon

Guzzi would be that asshole to take the one amusing gag going on and ruin in. Fuck your NY pizza, it's all about the Papa Johns

@RESPECT I believe they're going to record it and then sell the DVD's to the artists if they want it for promotional purposes (Which I'll buy one if they do). If not, I'll have someone out in the crowd video taping it anyway, so yeah, it'll be online either way lol.

As for more battles being finished, I'm sending my Round 2 to Mickey later on. He'll be posting it as soon as he responds.

Also, my verse has been done for a full 24 hours red, you going to update what verses you have?

@Nimbus: 5 straight.....years? Hard drugs? Rape charges?
@Wyze: You crazy, NYC has the best pizza places in the world.
@BigRed: My promotion get the comp any more voters? You said there were only 12 before.

haha pig, no real hate to NY pizza places, I just wanted to say that to spite Guzzi. Yes I'm that petty

@Wyze: I have to agree with PiGPEN. NY does have the best pizza joints in the world.

@PiGPEN: Armed Robbery with a lethal weapon. They gave me 10 because it was a sawed-off, pistol grip Mossberg.

shitt thats crazy..

Haha, oh lawd.
How old were you to do something as stupid as that?

I was 19. I wasn't caught on the scene, I had a guy snitch on me. It's a long story, but basically I had a wheel man and they arrested him on different charges (burglary). So to get let go of those charges, he gave up my name for the robbery. So, off 10 I did 5 straight in Stateville, IL.

Wow, 19.... you're a straight up thug :P

@PiGPEN You are correct, sir. And it was the stupidest shit I ever got myself into. I can't say I'd change much if I had to do it all over again, but being affiliated and committing crimes did catch up with me in the end. They tried to pin 7 cases on me, but didn't have sufficient evidence for any of the other ones. The could only make one stick.

doin time don't make you real

lol, Respect.
I think that phrase is on Dave Letterman's Top 10 list of things you shouldn't say to an ex-con.

LMAO I paid my dues. I got references for anyone that wants to check my card. He's right. Doing time doesn't make you real. Doing YOU makes you real. It's easy to be affiliated and commit crimes. I grew up in an environment where I was one of 2 white families in the entire area. Crips and Bloods going at it on a regular basis. There was one guy that got stabbed in the stomach. Sat down next to a dumpster bleeding to death. After he was dead, THEN someone called an ambulance because nobody wanted to be labeled a snitch.

It's easy to get involved in that type of shit, and I been there, done that. I did time off a decision I made. I took responsibility for my actions and paid the consequences as well. Anyone that I knew growing up still knows who I am. I can easily walk down the streets of most hoods and wouldn't even get checked. I've done it in NY, Philly, Chicago, St. Louis, and a few other places. Basically, real recognize real. I don't push people around pretending to be something I'm not.

na man, it aint like that haha, i got no hate to nimbus. i already have props for nimbus for doing his thing with his tunes, its not like "Oh he's an ex-convict......... FUCK HIM!!!!!" it's just that im pretty sure that are ppl around here that think doing time will instantly make u a real G,

it is what it is

Well I figured as much. That's why I made my comment more objective in a sense where I was agreeing with you. Doing time doesn't automatically give you "G" status. I know plenty of people that did bids off dumb shit that don't even to this day claim to be gangsta. They just ain't that type of peoples. But, then again, you get some kats that do time that think they can mouth off to anyone and not get smacked lol. So, I definitely agree.

i wrote my comment before i read yours tho haha but thats fucked up regardin the snitchin issue, but yea like you said. you paid ya dues, what's done is done doggg

I've been to juvie, only a night thankfully since the charges were dropped.
Got a nice sampling of the prison lifestyle; hose showering, titillating medical checks, playing dominoes, being politely asked by my roomie to felate him, politely declining and having to listen to him whack off before it was quiet enough for me to get to sleep. Good times. I should start talking shit about how gangsta i am because i spent a night in juvie and a guy masturbated near me.

BTW Nimbus you're 27? 28? (doing the maths of 19+5+years since signup).

@Nimbus : I'm glad you learned a valuable lesson man. It would be stupid and ignorant of you to repeat a mistake that you've made.

I feel like being a "G" is over-rated... People are trying to be thug and ganster-like, and to be honest, it is absolutely pathetic in my opinion. Be you.

If you want real recognition, I would suggest going against the accepted curb of what people are attempting to become now. You might be ostracized at first, but it will catch on, and then people will want to do what you do and will want the style that you portray.
